The annual event “IA South China” is the most populated automation trade fair in South China. Founded in 1997, “IA South China” was growing with the soaring economic development of pearl river delta region and South China’s the solid industrial foundation and promising market demands.
In 2020, to serve the needs of “Guangdong – Hong Kong – Macao Greater Bay Area” strategic development plan, “IA South China” was upgraded to “South China International Industry Fair” (SCIIF) and moved to Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center (Shenzhen Baoan). As estimated, the 2021 edition will attract 1,200 exhibitors from worldwide, and will cover 80,000sqm exhibition grounds. Based on the achievement of “IA South China” , and carrying out by the organizers of Hannover Messe and China International Industry Fair (CIIF), SCIIF is going have themed sub-exhibitions of whole industrial value chain, eg., Industrial Robots, Machine Vision, Machine Tool and Metal Working, Die & Mold, Laser and Optics, , . With the resources from both Hannover Messe and CIIF, SCIIF will become the “shinning star” among the trade shows in South China.
